About Our Company...
Legion Fireworks was
founded in 1920 by Joseph Chiarella, or "Grandpa" as we affectionately
call him.
Grandpa Built each of
his shells in the popular Italian tradition, skillfully handcrafting
each one using only crude instruments. We still use many of Grandpa
Chiarella's methods, star formulas and tools in our shells
manufacturing.
Since it's start in
1920, Legion Fireworks has thrived in prosperous times, survived
through difficult times, and continually grown to keep up with the ever
changing dynamics of the fireworks industry in America. *
From the
Fire Company's Annual Carnival to a Town's Centennial
celebration, Legion has never been known to disappoint an audience.
Located on 17.5 acres in
the prestigious Hudson Valley region of New York, we have the storage
facilities and resources to to meet the increasing demand for the larger, more
technical and sophisticated displays that the public now demands.
